My approach to design stems from a single desire: to bring to life the utopian dream that kids of the 20th century had about the year 2000.
I’ve always been fascinated by their naivety and their freedom when imagining those years.
As a young person today, I deeply miss those ideas. I want to give them credit now more than ever. That vision is beautiful, and I want to get closer to it.
So, I create minimalist, utilitarian sculptures while striving to break free from the preconceived ideas of this field.
I pay close attention to the quality of each piece, so that everyone who interacts with my work feels elevated, and senses the nostalgia I carry for a time I ultimately never lived through.
I love the unexpected.
I love black, because it disrupts the light.
I love white because I want to dream.
I love colors when they carry meaning.
I want to reinvent the 2000s in my own way.
